Have I mentioned how much my family loves Egg Nog? It’s ridiculous! My brother-in-law Dan is the worst offender. As soon as he sees it on shelves (around Halloween), you can bet he will have one in his fridge. So, a few years ago, I started experimenting with a yummy Egg Nog Fudge Recipe. This one is super delicious and fairly easy to make.

Directions:

Use a large heavy saucepan. Combine sugar, butter, Egg Nog, and salt.

Let it come to a boil for 6 minutes, or until it reaches 225 degrees on a candy thermometer.

Stir frequently. Add rum extract, nutmeg, marshmallow crème, and chocolate chips quickly. Continue stirring until the chocolate chips are completely melted and the marshmallow crème is completely combined.

Pour into a greased square 8” x 8” pan. Sprinkle a little Nutmeg on top for garnish. Let it cool completely, cut into squares and serve!

By the way, this is what happens when I spend time on the blog in the middle of the day… Don’t worry, she’s too cute to get in trouble! It’s a right of passage for every girl, right?!!

  1. Jessica, I had no idea that Egg Nog Fudge even existed. I don't think it did until you invented it. It's beautiful, seasonal, and delicious (no doubt!)…what's not to love? Did you give some to Dan? 🙂 Thank you for sharing this with us at Treasure Box Tuesday- pinned!!

  2. I saw this recipe and decided to try it. I had a bottle of spiked eggnog I had picked up at the liquor store which I used. I would recommend a 9×13 pan as the 8×8 makes thick pieces. I took this to work and needless to say my coworkers loved it. It disappeared in no time.
I will be making it again and again.
