Strawberry Pound Cake

Summer screams strawberries! You could make this dessert any time of the year but is perfect for your next BBQ, picnic or potluck dinner! It’s time to celebrate freshness!
This recipe is so easy to make but looks so fancy at the same time!
Strawberry Pound Cake
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups butter 3 sticks, softened
- 3 cups sugar
- 6 eggs
- 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- sugar to coat the pan
Instructions
Use cooking spray or butter, grease the pan. Take a 1/2 cup of sugar and pour it in the bundt pan. Swirl around the sugar until the whole surface is covered. If there's extra sugar that hasn't covered the surface of the pan, shake it out.
In a large bowl, cream butter.
Add sugar a little at a time.
Add eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla and combine.
Slowly stir dry ingredients into batter, being careful not to overbeat
Bake in preheated 325 degree oven for one hour and 20 minutes.
Cool cake in the pan for 20 minutes, then remove to cooling rack.
After it cools, serve. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh strawberries
- ⅓ cups granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- ½ tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
