Steak Queso Dip
Are you ready? This is the all time, ultimate queso ever! All the other dips won’t compare. You have been warned!
We love dips around this house! The best thing about dips are that they are perfect for any party, appetizer or even dinner. When we have family dinner, we are always competing to see who can come up with the best dip!
Lisa, my youngest, sent me a reel of a Steak Queso dip, and I knew as soon as I saw it, I needed to try it! I knew you couldn’t go wrong with steak but I didn’t realize with the combination of the different cheeses, how this would become are all time favorite dip! My husband couldn’t stop eating it! I’m serious! Get ready to eat something that will blow your skirt up and down!
Steak Queso Dip
Ingredients
- Grilled Steak:
- 2 Steak Filets
- Hard Carnivore Seasoning or your steak seasoning
- Queso:
- 16 oz Queso Blanco
- 8 oz Colby Jack cubed
- 8 oz Cream Cheese
- 4 oz Smoked cheddar cheese or regular cheddar cheese
- 1 can Rotel tomatoes with green chiles
- 1 small onion, diced
- salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 250 degrees F.
Slather your steak with season generously with my Hard core seasoning. Set to the side.
Add to a cast iron skillet or foil cooking pan all the ingredients for the queso and mix well. Place the skillet in the oven for 45 minutes until the cheese has softened and is almost melted.
Once the cheese is looking good, use a spoon to stir up the queso until blended.
Place back in the oven and let the queso continue cooking for 20-25 more minutes or until it is to your liking.
Add your steaks to a high heat grill and cook for 5-7 minutes per side or until 120 degrees F internal.
Pull off and let rest, then slice up into bite size cubes.
Add to the top of your queso and broil till golden brown.
Garnish with chopped chives and serve with chips or toasted baguette. Enjoy!
