Sticky Finger Sauce
Two of my daughters have been in mourning since Wingers in Spanish Fork closed. I thought we should post this recipe in memory of the Late Wingers that served us so well through the years! Honestly, it tastes just like Wingers sticky finger sauce and the mourning can seize!
sticky Sauce Ingredients:
1/3 cup Franks Hot Sauce( it has be Franks, nothing will taste as good)
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 Tablespoons water
2 Tablespoons corn syrup
Fingers Ingredients:
1 cup oil
1 package frozen breaded chicken tenders
Directions:
- Combine hot sauce, brown sugar, water and corn syrup in a saucepan. Heat on medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
- Remove from the heat and allow to cool to room temperature before you add the strips. The sauce will become thick and it tastes best that way!
- Heat oil and cook chicken tenders until crisp and warm. Dip each piece of chicken into the sauce until its completely covered.
- You can bake the chicken strips for less calories and it still tastes great!
You can take a little sauce and combine it with Ranch dressing and it will taste like their salad dressing! Yum!!!
