Orange Cream Pie
This is a creamsicle in a pie! It’s quick and easy and made in only minutes. This recipe will go to the top of family faves recipes!
Let’s talk about delicious! You only need a few ingredients that you combine for the filling and pour it in a graham cracker crust. Make it easy and a premade crust or make your own. This recipe will give you joy!
TIPS AND TRICKS
CRUST: If you want a twist, you can use Nilla wafers for your crust or jazz it up with an Oreo crust.
Orange Juice: Make sure to thaw your frozen juice before you start. If you want to put a different twist on this, you could use concentrated lemonade.
CREAM CHEESE: I always use the whipped cream cheese because it blends well in recipes. You can also use an low fat cream cheese. Honestly you won’t be able to taste the difference.
Orange Cream Pie
Ingredients
- 1 9 inch graham cracker pie crust
- 8 ounces whipped cream cheese
- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- 6 ounces frozen orange juice concentrate thawed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- a couple drops of orange food coloring
- 8 ounces Cool Whip
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla and thawed orange juice concentrate.
OPTIONAL: Add a few drops of food coloring to make the pie filling a little more orange.Gently fold whipped topping into the orange pie filling.
Pour pie filling into the graham cracker crust and spread evenly.
Refrigerate for at least 6 hours or freeze for at least 3 hours. You can even freezie it overnight.
Remove the cheesecake from the freezer about 5 minutes before serving. Slice into wedges. Garnish with whipped cream. Serve.
