Strawberry Cheesecake Tacos
Strawberry Cheesecake Tacos are the perfect dessert appetizer for any get together.
If I were to do these again I would make the tacos smaller and more bite size. I did a spin on my moms dessert and it turned out pretty good. Like I said I would tweek it and make the tacos smaller. When I was making these it was kind of fun and they were really easy and delicious. It did not take much effort. I would recommend these for sure!
Strawberry Cheesecake Tacos
Ingredients
- 10 tablespoons butter
- 2 1/2cups crushed graham crackers
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 12 street taco flour tortillas
- Large container Cool Whip
- 1 8 oz block cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 box Danish dessert Strawberry
- 1 1/4 cup water
- 2 cup sliced strawberries (I used frozen, you can use fresh)
Strawberry Cheesecake Tacos
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- Melt the butter. While that melts mix together the sugar and graham crackers and put in a bowl.
- Then take the tortillas and dip in the melted butter and then into the graham cracker mixture, until they are completely coated. Then I put them in an upside muffin pan into the taco shape. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
- When they are done pull out and allow to cool.
- While the shells cool mix together the Cool Whip, cream cheese and powdered sugar, until smooth.
- Then in a pan, combine the Danish dessert package with the water. Cook on a medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens and changes color. Pull off the heat and add in the strawberries. Allow to cool.
- Pipe in the cream cheese mixture and then top with strawberry Danish Dessert mixture. Enjoy!
