It’s freezing here today. BITTER COLD! I am cozied up in my warm house and enjoying my view through the frosted windowpanes as I stare at the snow-covered trees. Luckily, it’s Saturday, which means I don’t HAVE to be anywhere. The roads were so icy after the kid’s lessons on Thursday, I was scared to leave the house again, so I here I sit until it’s melted! Or until church tomorrow…whichever comes first…
Today I’m sharing this yummy apple cream drink recipe that my husband’s family has been enjoying on Christmas morning every year since he can remember. It’s very easy to make and everyone in the family can enjoy it!
We’ve been married 13 years now, and I remember the first Christmas I spent with them I thought it was a little strange, but now it’s a Christmas morning staple, or a snack for any night of the year!
We make it with an immersion blender, one of those hand held things, but you could use any type of blender! It’s just a combo of ice cream, apple juice and nutmeg! Easy right?!?! You’re going to love this apple cream drink recipe, and I bet you’ll want to enjoy more than one day a year!
- Apple Juice
- Ice Cream
- Nutmeg
- Combine equal parts ice cream and apple juice and blend until creamy and smooth.
- Sprinkle Nutmeg on top.
- Serve cold and enjoy!

Let’s try this again. This drink so yummy and so easy to make, i think even my 9 year old could make it for us and he would feel great. Perfect Christmas morning drink and I am just thinking of all the combinations you could create to make it your own drink.
