It’s Sawyer birthday and all he wanted was a Bowser Birthday! Here is everything we did!

We did Sawyer’s cake and ice cream early because during the week it’s going to be a little hectic. He had such a fun time hanging out with his cousins and being celebrated. It was the best. He’s so fun to do things for because he thinks everything is amazing. We love him so much!

It was surprisingly hard to find a lot of Bowser decorations. I found some medieval decorations that gave be Bowser vibes and he like those a lot. I also went on Etsy and found Koopaling cupcakes toppers.

Medieval Decor

I tried to do a new cake recipe with Japanese Cake methods. I’m not so sure it worked out the way that I had hoped. However, it had pretty layers and baked very easily. I’m not going to post the recipe until I perfect it. Here is what his cake looked like. He loved it. It’s not perfect but it was fun to make!

I used browned butter rice krispies treats for the towers and the dirt around the moat and Ellie was constantly taking bites out of the towers. I had to fix them like 5 times.

We also have all his presents for him ready to go for tomorrow. We bought them at an actual store this time because what he wanted was stuff that he had to try on. Matt took him shopping and then went and bought them later. He’s going to love all his things!
