Cheesy Spinach Dip Recipe
We have always loved a good, hot, and cheesy dip around these parts, and Christmas is the perfect time to break this recipe out! We had a FriendsMas this last weekend. And, of course, there had to be delicious food!
What’s a FriendsMas you ask? Well, it’s Christmas but before Christmas, with friends! We exchanged white elephant gifts, played the Box of Lies game from Jimmy Fallon, and Mike (my hubby) topped off the night with some fireworks! It was snowing, and it was pretty awesome! We also had games for the kids, since we have 10 between all of our friends!
We played the donut game. You string some donuts up, and tell the kids they have to eat it without using their hands, there’s really no point to it, but it makes the kids giggle, and the adults. Here’s my 3-year-old Sophie trying it out!
My sweet 5-year-old Gracie did a great job, and didn’t even use her hands at all!
And Max, my 8-year-old, thought he was a pro! This is a game that is best for the outdoors, or in an unfinished basement! Less disaster this way!
We also had a piñata filled with candy and simple toys for the kids to enjoy during their Christmas movie! (So yeah, the kids have free reign over the basement! Don’t judge the toys and storage mess!)
My hubby, Mike, was in charge of the games for the adults, and he decided to plant this gem in one of the boxes, for the Box of Lies game. Yes, that’s a My Buddy doll, holding a hatchet, with a Wisconsin cheese head-on.
It was hilarious! If you don’t know what the game is, search for it on YouTube!
Okay, on to the recipe, this didn’t last long, and it’s a classic dip! Mmmm delicious
