Chicken Tikka Masala
Chicken Tikka Masala! 10000x better (and faster) than take-out! And the chicken is perfectly tender with the creamiest, most flavor-packed sauce ever!
It’s time for us to get our international groove on! My cute Zac, loves to cook and it can be your ordinary cuisine. He made this dish a couple of years ago and Andie loves it and begged for him to make it again. The men of the family love it spicy but I’m a wimp and like the milder version.
Remember, if you like it spicy, leave in the seeds in the jalapeno, and for a milder taste remove the seeds.

Chicken Tikka Masala
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, 2 teaspoons cumin, cinnamon, cayenne, black pepper, ginger, and 1/2 teaspoons salt. Stir in chicken, cover, and refrigerate for 1 hour. Soak skewers in water.
- Preheat a grill for high heat.
- Lightly oil the grill grate. Thread chicken onto skewers, and discard marinade. Grill until juices run clear, about 5 minutes on each side.
- Melt butter in a large heavy skillet over medium heat. Sauté garlic and jalapeno for 1 minute. Season with 2 teaspoons cumin, paprika, fenugreek seeds, cardamom and 1/2 teaspoons salt. Stir in tomato sauce and cream. Simmer on low heat until sauce thickens, about 20 minutes. Add grilled chicken, and simmer for 10 minutes. Transfer to a serving platter, and garnish with fresh cilantro

Chicken Tikka Masala is always a great Indian Classic dish, but like you, not everyone's palate enjoy its spicy flavor. That is a great recipe from you guys. That dish is indeed something both a spicy lover and one who doesn’t would certainly enjoy. Thanks for sharing!
