Chocolate Fudge with Caramel Bites
I really shouldn’t make fudge during the holidays! I can’t resist eating it, it’s so creamy and delicious. I always tell myself, “It’s for the neighbors,” but in reality, most of it is for me!
This fudge recipe is super easy to make, and your whole family will love it.
This recipe is just traditional chocolate. A lot of people like to add nuts, but I get canker sores every time I eat nuts, so I opted to add caramel bites to this instead. I just put them in the middle of the fudge.
The caramel bites are also great in cookies, I just think they’re so cute and mini!

Chocolate Fudge with Caramel Bites
Directions:
Melt butter, sugar, salt, and evaporated milk in a heavy saucepan. Boil for 6 minutes, or until it reaches the softball stage. Take the sugar mixture off of the heat and add vanilla, marshmallow crème, and chocolate. Stir until all the chocolate and marshmallow are completely combined.
Pour half of the mixture into a greased cake pan, pour the bag of caramel bits on top, and cover with the remaining fudge. Use a knife to stir the caramel up a little bit, making a figure 8 motion.
Let cool, and serve!
