Colorful Girls Room Makeover!
I’m so excited about the mini makeover I did in the
girl’s room this weekend! Their room is a little awkward because there are so many doors and closets, and for some reason, we didn’t center the window in the room! Ugh! It’s been tricky to decorate, but I finally got some fun colors in there and the girls are super excited about it and so am I!
We started by spray painting some old frames that I had sitting in the basement and filled them with some prints that I had in an old calendar. I love that they were FREE! Everything I used on the wall, with the exception of a couple of new prints, was FREE! The best kind of makeovers always are! I went to a blog conference a few weeks ago, and we got a hello sign, chalkboard bubble, arrow, and the ‘U’ at a party that was sponsored by
Heidi Swapp, Her stuff is adorable, you have to check it out!
My
girls have been sharing a room for almost a year now, ever since my little Ivie was born last year, and they were begging me for their own artwork! I still want to add their names above their beds, but I couldn’t wait to show you the fun transformation!

The loft bed is SO tall, and I want to kick something every time I make the bed, so I usually just let it go…did I just say that out loud!?
I love all the fun colors that their bedspreads have in them. I got them at Walmart! So fun and affordable!
I got these cute chandeliers on Amazon. The girls had been begging for chandeliers for a while, and these were the cutest and most affordable I could find. At first, I thought they would be able to hang from the light, but that didn’t work for us, so we hung them above the foot of their beds.
The gold dots were swag at the blog conference too, and they’re from Walls Need Love. I actually was surprised at how easy they were to use! You can actually move them around, so don’t worry if you accidentally put one in the wrong spot, they easily peel off and stick again!
Here’s the only print we had in the room originally. It was lonely, but it perfectly matches everything else that we added! I love it!
Here’s a picture of the Before! Not terrible, but definitely NOT fun!
