Developing Your Wicked Witch Voice!
Developing Your Wicked Witch Voice
Mommies develop in unique ways: The new mommy who puts on makeup weeks before her peers might be one of the last to learn how to text without her toddler snatching the phone. Or the mom who actually does her hair might have trouble getting places on time. If you don’t hit a mommy milestone at the same time as other mommies, try not to feel discouraged.
One milestone all moms have to look forward to is the development of the wicked witch voice. For a new mom, it can be hard to know whether or not you’ve hit this milestone. Because all women are unique, the wicked witch voice manifests itself in different ways. It can vary in length and pitch, and what causes it for one mom may not cause it for another.
Activities to avoid that may prevent you from developing the wicked witch voice:
- A full night’s sleep
- Frequent kid-free trips to target
- A vacation
- A decent nap
- Selling your children
- Letting your child pick you a bouquet of flowers for you
- Being put into a coma the entire newborn phase
- Abstinence
- Asking for a night out when you need it
- A heartfelt Mother’s Day
Throughout motherhood you will continue to develop and fine tune your wicked witch voice, so don’t be discouraged if it takes a while to have its full effect. Each mother develops at her own pace so try not to compare yourself to others. If you are concerned that you haven’t developed the wicked witch voice by the time you have two or more
children be sure to talk to your doctor.
