DIY Journal Activity Days Craft! I teach Activity Days for the 8-9-year-old girls in my ward and we made DIY Journals for our last activity. They had a lot of fun getting creative and because it was personal it made them excited about keeping a journal. They each asked me to take a photo of their journal after and send it to their moms!
DIY Journal Activity Days Craft
WHAT YOU NEED:
Notebook
Scrapbook paper, ribbons etc.
Markers, colored pencils, etc.
Scissors
Glue
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Start off your activity by explaining the benefits and importance of keeping a journal. (I also read them an entry from a journal of mine I had from when I was their age.)
- Hand them each a notebook and explain/show an example of what they will be doing.
- Let them go to work!
