Air Fryer Parmesan Chicken
Who knew that you can get the most juiciest and crunchy chicken you have ever tasted cooked in the air fryer! It’s true! Parmesan Chicken! Yum!
Air Fryer Parmesan Chicken
When we first bought our air fryer, we tried to cook a few frozen things in it, and we failed! I kept thinking to myself what all the to do was about this kitchen gadget. After that, I gave it to Cassie and forgot all about it.
A few months went by and I was ready to try to conquer the air fryer. My sister in law told me that she has one that she hasn’t ever used. Okay, I was dumb, because the air fryer is so easy to use and I guess I was overthinking it.
We have used ours so many times that it’s almost time for a new one!
The chicken cooked in a air fryer is so juicy! Let me repeat, the chicken is so juicy! Second, it’s quick and less mess! Life is good!
TIPS FOR CRUNCHY CHICKEN
- You want your spices to stay on your chicken, so that’s why we use a little oil so that they can adhere to the chicken.
- Make sure not to overcrowd the pieces. You want the air to be able to circulate.
- Every air fryer is a little different. so get to know your fryer! You will know if you need to change cooking times or temperatures.
- You want to make sure the chicken is done. Use your meat thermometer to make sure the thickest part of the chicken is at 165 degrees. Plus, the juices should be clear.
Air Fryer Parmesan Chicken
Ingredients
- 8 Chicken Thighs Skinless, bone-in or with skin and bones
- 3 tbsp. Butter
- 3 tbsp. Grated Parmesan
- 3 to 4 Garlic Cloves minced
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Ground Paprika
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
Instructions
Melt the butter in the microwave and pour it into a large bowl. Add grated parmesan, all spices and salt. Mix thoroughly.
Add garlic to the marinade bowl. Mix everything thoroughly again.
Rinse chicken thighs and pat dry to remove excess moisture. Transfer to a large bowl for easy mixing and add the marinade.
Mix everything thoroughly - it is more convenient to do it with your hands. If you have time, cover the bowl with a lid (or cling film) and refrigerate for several hours.
Transfer the marinated chicken thighs to the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 400F for 13 minutes on one side, then flip and cook another 6-7 minutes on the other side.
Serve the thighs hot with fresh herbs, sauce, lemon or vegetables.
