Fresh Fruit Salsa
Fresh Fruit Salsa! I love going into the grocery store this time of year! The produce section is full of fresh produce and the possibilities are endless!
All I can think about is making fresh and super simple recipes. That’s why I decided that we needed to introduce fresh fruit salsa with a little spice to the blog!
It’s not only pretty but so full of flavor! This would be perfect for a BBQ or snacking around the house. This sassy little combination of sweet berries, sour apple, and a pinch of jalapeno will brighten up your day, but if you aren’t a spicy kind of person, leave out the jalapeno. This would also be great as a garnish for grilled chicken or fish.
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 cup diced strawberries
- 1 cup diced green apple
- 1/3 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped jalapeno pepper, stemmed and seeded
- Juice of 1 large lime
- Salt, to taste
- Tortilla chips, for serving
- In a medium bowl, combine blueberries, strawberries, green apple, cilantro, red onion, jalapeno, and lime juice. Stir until well combined. Season with salt, to taste. Serve with tortilla chips at room temperature or chilled.
Fruit salads are my favorite! Yours looks amazingly good! =)
Your Fresh Fruit Salsa will be a great addition to any summer meal! Hope you are having a great week and thanks so much for sharing with us at Full Plate Thursday.

Love this colourful, sweet, spicy recipe – and what a great way to get fruit into your family! It’s a great thing to make in July, and I’ve featured it at this week’s Hearth and Soul Link Party. Thank you so much for being a part of the Hearth and Soul Community!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it!
This looks like an amazing recipe! I never thought of spicing up fruit! Can’t wait to try it!
