High Protein Queso
High Protein Queso is a great guilt free way to have cheese fries or nachos.
We had some leftover lean brisket and we’ve been trying to find recipes that we could use it for. We love nacho fries and these were amazing!
We used the nacho fries I posted yesterday and made this Queso and topped with tomatoes, cilantro and a squeeze of lime. This was absolutely delicious! I felt less guilty about it. It was around 650 calories and extra protein in the queso!
Ingredients
- 450 grams cottage cheese
- 40 grams shredded triple cheddar
- 40 grams fat free cheddar cheese
- 2 teaspoons taco seasoning
Directions
- Throw all the ingredients in the blender and mix until completely smooth. I usually let the blender go for a whole 2 minutes.
- Place in a small sauce pan and heat the mixture on low heat stirring frequently.
- Use with chips or fries or whatever else you can come up with!
