Homemade Nutella Ice Cream
Homemade ice cream is the best thing in the world, especially on a hot August day. Homemade Nutella Ice Cream is freaking delicious!
Since I got pregnant I can not eat much. In fact, if I cook something for dinner, I’m mostly going to throw up and then not want to eat what I cooked. Matt is being so patient with me but I feel so lame. He made the most delicious vanilla ice cream a month or so ago and I threw it up.
Therefore the smell of vanilla made me want to vomit for weeks. I really wanted rocky road ice cream the other day and we didn’t have the things we needed so this was the compromise. I definitely feel like it was a huge win!
Homemade Nutella Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup Nutella
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 2/3 cups Heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
- In a blender, mix ingredients until the mixture is smooth. Then refrigerate until cold.
- Then freeze in your ice cream maker as directed by the instructions. The put in the freezer until solid. About 4 to 6 hours.
ICE CREAM RECIPES
If you don’t have an ice-cream device, you can add about 45ml of strong alcohol in it to prevent the mixture to freeze all the way through.
