Kansas City Barbecue Sauce
We love us some barbecue at our house! Kansas City Barbecue Sauce is my most favorite kind of barbecue sauce to use!
We probably love barbecue a little too much but we are always trying to make it better. We’ve been experimenting with making ribs and brisket better now that meat prices have been coming down a little and with that we’ve been trying to make our barbecue sauces better.
I think we need to find cheaper hobbies because these ones might break the bank but it’s a delicious hobby! This sauce was super yummy, give it a try!
Ingredients
- 14 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/3 cup molasses
- 1 Tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 Tablespoon salt
- 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
Directions
-
Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Whisk to combine. Bring to a boil and then reduce the heat to a simmer. Simmer for 30 minutes. Allow to cool completely before transferring to an air tight container.
