Keto Philly Steak Lettuce Wrap
Keto Philly Steak Lettuce Wrap! I love a good Philly Steak sandwich! Steak wrapped in veggies and stuck together with that ooey gooey cheese! Nothing is better!
You get to have all that wrapped in a crisp fresh piece of lettuce and you will completely forget that you are trying to lose weight! Don’t get me wrong, my downfall is bread but this will be a great substitute and your body will thank you later.
Again, this is a recipe that is good for those who are on the Keto diet but the whole entire family will absolutely love this!
Keto Philly Steak Lettuce Wrap
INGREDIENTS
DIRECTIONS
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium heat, then add onion and bell peppers. Season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring often, until the onions and peppers are tender, about 5 minutes. Remove peppers and onions from the skillet and heat the remaining oil in a skillet.
- Add steak in a single layer and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the steak is seared on one side, about 2 minutes. Flip and cook until the steak is seared on the second side and is cooked to your liking, about 2 minutes more for medium.
- Add onion mixture back to skillet and toss to combine. Place slices of provolone over steak and onions then cover skillet with a tight-fitting lid and cook until the cheese has melted about 1 minute. Remove from heat.
- Arrange lettuce on a serving platter. Scoop steak mixture onto each piece of lettuce. Garnish with tomatoes and serve warm.
