Milk Cake Prank!
Milk Cake Prank
We have a group of friends that we love to prank! It’s been going on for years now. It started about 3 years ago when our friends bought a new house and moved away.
We wanted to show them how much we missed them, so we cemented a flag pole into the middle of their unfinished yard and hung some ugly lingerie as a prank…okay… I had nothing to do with it, but my husband and his friend, Ben had the time of their lives pulling off the prank and they all still laugh about it today.
Fast forward a couple of years, when we bought our new house. A few days after Christmas, we woke up to 7 Christmas trees standing upright in our unfinished yard. It looked ridiculous, but many of our NEW neighbors made comments about it and how we ‘might want to consider spreading them out a little bit… HAHA! They thought we were landscaping in the middle of winter in
Utah! So funny!
Another time we woke up to cotton balls frozen to our front porch, and ANOTHER time someone left a live TARANTULA on our front porch as a ‘gift’. NO THANKS!!!
So when April Fools Day came around, we decided to pull an innocent prank on our friends. We were supposed to bring a treat to our little get-together so we brought this…
A milk cake! My friend Bonnie kept asking why we brought milk? We thought we were pretty hilarious!
Milk Cake Prank
Milk Cake Ingredients and Tools
- 1 large bag of Wilton White Chocolate Melts
- 1 Cake
- 6-7 Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 1 small tub of Frosting
- 1 Milk Bottle
- Razor Blade
Here’s what we did… Empty a milk bottle and CAREFULLY remove the label so it’s completely intact. We failed the first time and ended up using 2 milk bottles for this project.
Cut off the bottom of the milk bottle with a razor blade. Melt the white chocolate chips and pour them into an empty milk container.
Roll the chocolate around in the bottle until the entire surface is covered in chocolate. Don’t skimp here, you want a solid surface.
While the chocolate sets, either in the fridge or on the counter top, bake some cookies and a chocolate cake and let them cool completely! If you want, you could just buy a cake and cookies from the store, that would make this even faster and easier!
When the cake is cool and the chocolate is hard, cut your cake into squares and pack it into the milk jug.
Pour a little ready-made frosting in on top of the cake, and layer cookies, cake and frosting until the milk bottle is almost full.
Now leave about an inch to pour white chocolate on top of the last cookies.
Put the milk bottle into the fridge for at least an hour, to allow the base of the chocolate to completely harden. Then use a razor blade to carefully remove the plastic from the chocolate.
Now top your ‘milk cake’ with the original plastic lid and label. Just use a dab of melted white chocolate to secure them.
Make sure you have an audience when you cut into your cake! No one will know what the HECK is going on! It’s a fun and harmless prank to play on your friends!
