Pork Roast
Dinner is always a conundrum, what’s good and what is easy? It’s a hard thing to come up with something that doesn’t require a lot of effort. Coaching makes my days long and nights short.
It’s really hard to find good recipes to eat every night that are different than the usual beef and chicken recipes.
Pork Roast
Ingredients
1 1/2 pound pork roast
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 garlic cloves minced
1/4 large onion minced
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
2. In a bowl mix together garlic powder, oregano, cumin, thyme and salt. Rub the dry ingredients on the pork.
3. In the roasting pot, put the olive oil, the garlic, and the onion. Saute on medium heat until they are translucent.
4. Sear all the sides of the roast. Then put the roast in the oven for 45 minutes. It’s about 25 minutes per pound. Then slice and serve!
5. Enjoy!

Cumin sounds like an interesting thing to add. I have it but never know what to put it on.
