Sausage Gravy
This is the perfect Sausage Gravy to go with your biscuits, in an amazing breakfast idea.
I’ve had homemade biscuits and gravy two weekends in a row and I love this recipe that I have been tinkering with for months! You guys really need to try this breakfast you will not regret it. Also it kept me full almost all day, so that’s another win. Kimmer has instilled a love for biscuits and gravy and I finally get it now that I’m an adult.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground pork sausage
- 4 Tablespoons salted butter
- 1/3 cup flour
- 3 cups of milk
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Directions
- In medium skillet, over medium heat, brown the sausage until cooked through.
- Once browned, add in the butter and flour to make a rue and then add the milk and seasonings.
- Bring to a boil, and allow to thicken until desired thickness.
- Pour over your biscuits and add an egg if you’d like!
