Super Fun and Easy Pumpkin Decorations
Its that time of year again!!!!!! We love holidays and this one is at the top of the list. We always have to add to our decoration inventory each year and this is one of the projects we decided to do.
The ladies in my ward did some mighty fine pumpkins in Relief Society and I wasn’t able to participate because of the girls activities. I also found in a lot of the magazines they were featuring similar pumpkins, so we had to see what we could come up with……………………………………
I thought this way a fun idea! Great activity to do with your kids and a fun decoration for the house. Lisa made this cute pumpkin and it took less than an hour to make. The eyes are cheap and Halloween ribbon is a $1 a roll at Wal-Mart.
I love this idea!!!!! I had to paint my pumpkin because they didn’t have any in the black color. I sprayed painted it and it covered well. The finish was so shiny and made a great canvas. I used a paint pen to write on the pumpkin.
It turns into your own little chalkboard pumpkin and you can write any “haunting” saying that you want.
Add some glitter star stickers and use a paint pen to draw your moon and you end up with this adorable pumpkin! The pumpkins are $4.98 at Wal-Mart.
Do you have scrap paper lying around the house? Rip it up and get out your Mod Podge! Depending on the paper, you can make this whimsical or fancy. Takes about an hour but it is really is eye catching.
If you have never used Mod Podge, never fear, its easy to use! Simply brush the surface that is going against the pumpkin and then smooth the paper to the pumpkin. Brush the top of the paper for the last step. I found that smaller pieces of paper are easier to work with.
