Oh man, I’m not kidding around here. This here is the most delicious turkey known to man kind! Throw out all those bones and all the prep and effort a normal turkey takes. This one can be ready in about 2 hours, and it’s juicy, delicious, and there won’t be any leftovers!
The Easiest Most Delicious Turkey You Will EVER Make
Have I convinced you yet? Okay, this is the turkey I usually buy. This is not sponsored, I just really love this turkey!
I let mine thaw out in the fridge over night, in a bowl to catch the juices. There is a gravy packet, but I never use it. The turkey is wrapped in this netting to keep it together. It looks weird, but it comes right off after you cook it. Oh, and my pan isn’t dirty, just stained from all the delicious meals I make in it. If you have any tips for cleaning it please comment and let me know!
So, I just cut up an onion. And put it in the bottom of the pan, I also peel 4 cloves of garlic and throw them in too. Then I set the turkey on top of them, so the heat can circulate around the whole turkey, and it won’t stick to my pan. I salt and pepper my turkey, and brush it with olive oil.
Last I pour in some chicken stock, only enough to cover most of the onion. This helps keep the turkey juicy!
Bake it at 350 degrees for about 2 1/2 hours. My turkey was only 3 pounds, so it took less time than a 4-5 pound turkey would take. Let it cook until it reaches 165 degrees internally. Then, and this is the MOST important part, let it rest for at least half an hour! It will still be hot when you slice into it, but if you cut it before the juices settle, you’ll have dry turkey and all the yummy juices will be on the plate! For shame!
So, I don’t know about you, but I’m not going to hassle you with a big boney turkey this year. This one is SOOO much better. Trust me, you won’t regret it!
It looks so moist and delicious! Thank you for sharing at Inspire Me Wednesday. Featuring you in this week's issue.
Thank you! I haven't cooked a turkey in years (the family prefers chicken) and I have a huge one to cook this year. This looks like the perfect recipe to try.
